Fifth International World Wide Web Conference

May 6-10, 1996 - Paris, France

Organized by INRIA in cooperation with the European Commission, ERCIM and the WWW Consortium under the sponsorship of The International World Wide Web Conference Committee.

After Geneva, Chicago, Darmstadt and Boston, the Web World came to Paris, 6-10 May, 1996, at the Fifth International World Wide Web Conference.

The conference is over. The final statistics show that more than 2,300 delegates coming from 51 different countries attended the conference sessions and over 15,000 visited the exhibition.

A huge amount of information about the event is maintained on this web site. It includes more than 300 pages about the sessions, 120 about the paper proceedings and thousands of new pages are being added about presentation slides.
